“While creating images to represent the COLLECTIV brand in our growing academy locations, our inspiration was to take an editorial approach to everyday hair,” notes the COLLECTIV art team, whose non-branded academies have gained a major increase in visibility since launching in 2016. The team’s goal, as exemplified in the Just Hair compilation: Present fellow stylists with the know-how to achieve looks that are as lovely as they are wearable. Explains collection photographer Heath M. Grout, “These looks feel lived-in, but take a strong skill set to achieve.”
