  • Kate Hudson

    The Look: Effortlessly chic updo
    Celeb Stylist: David Babaii

    How-To:

    1. “First, I dried Kate’s hair using the ghd air hairdryer and ghd ceramic vented radial brush size 3.
    2. "I then parted the hair down the left side and divided into three sections: two in the front and one in the back.
    3. "I smoothed hair with the new ghd platinum styler. I love this flat iron because it features ghd’s tri-zone technology, which allows me to style hair at the optimal temperature of 365 degrees to ensure styles last longer without causing extra damage.
    4. "I next twisted her hair back into a low bun and pulled out a few loose pieces to create texture.
    5. "Use bobby pins to secure the style."
  • Lea Michelle

    The Look: Sleek, knotted bun
    Celeb Stylist: John D.

    How-To:

    1. Prep clean, towel-dried hair by running a dollop of TRESemmé Climate Control Mousse from roots to ends to add light hold and keep the elements out.
    2. Blow-dry hair using a large round brush to help smooth lengths and give lift at the root.
    3. Gather hair at the back of the head and secure ponytail with an elastic, making sure that roots aren’t pulled back too tight. Then, split the ponytail into two sections and tie sections into loose knots. Wrap knots around ponytail to create an intricate bun and fasten all around with bobby pins.
    4. Finish the look by spraying TRESemmé Climate Control Hair Spray all over for a frizz-free, strong hold.
  • Claire Danes

    The Look: Modern bob
    Celeb Stylist: Steven Butler

    How-To:

    1. "I loved Claire’s look tonight! Since she was wearing a Burberry Prorsum sleeveless sparkly black dress that is soft and feminine, we drew inspiration from the contrasting texture of the dress through her new haircut, a sleek and iron straight bob. To begin, I blew out her hair with a large paddle brush then used my tail comb to set in a low side part. I proceeded to take vertical sections of hair around the head and worked each section with the Joico Iron Clad Thermal Protectant Spray - which is a great non-sticky, lightweight heat protectant - before running my flat iron through the hair.
    2. "After the hair was flat-ironed, I sprayed a bit of Joico Hair Shake liquid-to-powder finishing texturizer since it's the perfect wet powder to apply on fly-always when sprayed on your hands. The texture that the spray provides added to the movement of the sleek bob.
    3. "I finished with a final spray of the Joico Flip Turn volumizing finishing spray to ensure the bob’s structure would be held and to protect against any humidity that would come from transitioning from the rainy L.A. weather to the red carpet."
  • Kether Donohue

    The Look: Big-bodied curls
    Celeb Stylist: Paul Norton

    How-To:

    1. "Since it was pouring down rain outside and we knew we wanted big body curls/waves pushed to one side, I began by using Joico Power Gel sculpting gel on damp hair and blowing it out with a medium sized boar bristle round brush until fully dry.
    2. "Next, I created a deep side part on her right side, after which I used a 1 1/4-inch curling iron to set the hair, placing some sections under, and some sections over the hair to give different directions to each wave. For each section I sprayed Joico Design Works styling spray to enforce my curls hold, while still working the hair. I set each curl with a silver hair clamp.
    3. "The most important part of my process was the fact that I let the hair cool for 20 minutes. Next, I released the clamps and had her lean her head all the way back and then applied Joico K-PAK Protect and Shine Serum, using my fingers to comb through the entire head, and then swept it to the left side.
    4. "I used Joico Flip Turn Volumizing Finishing spray to confine the right side close to the head as well as placing two bobby pins for hold. I then gently back-combed sections of the curls just so they would stay together for the most part.
    5. "Finally, I used more Flip Turn to eliminate any fly-aways and over the entire head to finish the look and make sure it kept its hold."
