Watch! Haircolor How To: Festive Wintergreen

The weather outside may be frightful, but this hair color is sure delightful! Inspired by reality star and hair chameleon Kylie Jenner, PRAVANA guest artist Toni Rose Larson teamed up with model, photographer and blogger Alysha Nett to create this gorgeous wintergreen look. Perfect for the holiday season, the minty hue was created with PRAVANA VIVIDS PASTELS Blissful Blue and Mystical Mint for a multidimensional finish. To add length, Toni added a custom-colored HALOCOUTURE that blended beautifully with Alysha’s natural locks.

 

 

FORMULAS

• Lightener: 1 oz. Pure Light Power Lightener + 3 oz. Creme Developer + 1/3 oz. :60 Deep Treatment
• Formula 1: PASTELS Blissful Blue
• Formula 2: PASTELS Mystical Mint

 
Get the Look:

1. Pre-lighten the hair from re-growth to ends to a level 10.
2. While hair is lightening, apply Formula 2 to HALOCOUTURE hair extensions.
3. Shampoo, condition, and rinse hair using PRAVANA Nevo shampoo and conditioner.
4. On damp hair, apply toner from re-growth to ends. Process 5 minutes, then rinse, condition and dry completely.
5. Apply Formula 1 to 2 inches from re-growth, covering any residual pale yellow tones left in the hair.
6. Apply Formula 2 from Formula 1 through the ends, all over.
7. Process for 20-30 minutes at room temperature.
8. Shampoo, condition, and protect with VIVIDS Color Protect.
9. Apply PRAVANA Nevo Model Behavior and blow-dry hair completely.
10. Flatiron the hair to smooth.
11. Apply hair extensions and blend using a comb.
