Looking for inspiration? Follow the hordes of creative minds to Miami’s Wynwood district, where funky street art plasters the buildings, people-watching is unparalleled—and where Luxury Brand Partners (LBP) has perched its new education flagship. LBP Studios encompasses 7,000 square feet, including two intimate learning rooms—capacity 56 for business classes and a 36-person space for design classes—plus a café serving up java, eats, beer and wine. “The minimalist design provides the brain with a blank canvas to work from,” relates Tom Seeberger, dean of the school. “Several murals from Wynwood artists are even painted on our walls to honor and promote our community.”

LBP Studios sprouted as a way for its luxury brands (including R+Co and Oribe) to deliver cutting-edge education and relationship-development experiences—and hence drive sales, boost market share and develop loyalty among stylists. But the supreme goal? To initiate and support a movement that compels salons to be “part of the solution,” Seeburger explains, ultimately innovating and revolutionizing the entire industry. To that end, LBP taps top-tier names (such as Tev Finger, Daniel Kaner, Garren and Ronnie Stam) to spearhead a range of business, cutting and styling classes. “All of our sessions are kept to a small class size with a great student-to-teacher ratio, and stylists always work on live models,” Seeburger enthuses. “Our students commend us on our ability to transform potentially uncomfortable experiences into warm and memorable interactions that further their learning; the hospitality of our staff truly differentiates us.”

Even better, 2017 brings two new classes to stylists and owners: The Art & Science of Public Speaking focuses on scoring success in front of an audience, while Social Media Magic goes beyond the basics (and the noise) to attract the ideal online followers. Meanwhile, new design classes include R+Co’s Makeover Workshop and Oribe’s Journey to Mastery. “Our world-class facilitators are content experts in their fields and truly care about helping others further their business acumen and technical skill sets,” Seeburger concludes. “We’ll continue to segment our market to ensure we’re developing and delivering the content needed to navigate the quickly evolving landscape of business today.”
