Oscars weekend can be both exciting and stressful for nominees and celebrity guests as they get ready to walk the red carpet. Of course, the preparation process is a big one as it is all about taking steps to look one's best for the cameras. The 11th Annual TMG Beauty & Style Destination Pre Oscars Lounge at the Beverly Hilton offered stars a chance to get a head start with some relaxation and pampering.

Stylists joined Marylle Koken at Sebastian Jam to bring their creativity to new levels, break boundaries and think outside of the box. Sebastian is all about thinking forward and fearlessly creating something new and original. Attending stylists couldn't wait to take on the task and dive right into the hands-on portion of the class.

Putting a twist on the classic Prada look, Redken Global Creative Director Guido created a young, sophisticated up-do, adorned with beautiful, jeweled barrettes for the Fall/Winter 2015 runway show in Milan. Recreating the look from Prada’s Men’s show, Guido used Redken’s Stay High 18 high-hold gel to mousse and Fashion Work 12 versatile working spray to pull the hair into a high, tight up-do. Then, Guido hand-placed Prada’s bejeweled barrettes on each model for the perfect finishing touch.

After two successful seasons of New York Fashion Week, Cuccio Colour made its way across the pond and was a staple backstage during the Fashion Scout FW15 shows at Freemasons’ Hall. Colorist Dustin Stone recently created this decadent, red velvet hair color for his client. Subtle, sultry crimson blends down into vibrant, fiery red for a rich, bold effect. Below, Stone shares the steps he took in creating this gorgeous hair color.Get the Look:1. Says Stone, "I used Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 3-68 for new growth.2. "Then, I applied 20g L-89 10g L-88 30 vol. and painted in my red.3. "Processed at room temperature 45 minutes… really simple!"

Renowned hairstylist and artist, Charlie Le Mindu, will be hosting a highly artistic, fashion-forward exhibit, featuring stunning hair creations created, in part, with Hairdreams Hair Extensions. The exhibit, “Le Bord des Mondes” (The Edge of Worlds), focuses on the meaning of art with digital technology, fashion, photography, and science. The exhibition, held at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris’s highly-acclaimed contemporary art museum, will run from February 18-May 17, 2015.

To enhance the romance of Alberta Ferretti’s Fall/Winter 2015 Collection, Redken Global Creative Director Guido created a simple, soft, low ponytail for the runway. To achieve a silky-smooth texture with natural movement, Guido blow-dried the hair using Redken’s Satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion, and then pulled it back into a loose ponytail for a romantic, pure feeling.
