Global Beauty Masters, a television series about an extreme hair, makeup, nails and fashion competition based on the live event Battle of the Strands, is filming season two in Las Vegas. Sam Villa, Founding Partner of Sam Villa and Education Artistic Director for Redken 5th Avenue, is taking part, filming his role as judge and mentor. The epic series airs on TLC TV network on Monday, January 29th at 5:00pm EST.
The show highlights both professional and school competitions, and Villa, one of the hair industry’s most awarded educators, will be judging the school competition (6 challenges, 8 episodes) and the Final Battle of the pro category. Mr. Villa will also serve as mentor in front of the camera and behind the scenes, sharing wisdom, education and experiences, as well as filming tips and techniques to share with the television audience.
