Glendale Galleria donated storefront space to host a special dress boutique for teen girls with kidney disease on January 7 and 8. The dress boutique, sponsored by Renal Support Network, allowed teen girls to find a dress for the 13th Annual Renal Teen Prom held on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, CA.
Over the course of the weekend, nearly 60 girls visited the boutique for dress fittings as well as receiving hair and makeup tips from professional stylist, Gabrielle Melville. Melville has worked with Jessica Biel, Gloria Allred, Rachel Taylor as well as in print and television.
Producer, Ann Lopez stopped by to volunteer as well. Renal Support Network is a non-profit, patient-focused, patient-run organization that provides non-medical services to those affected by chronic kidney disease. For more information, visit www.RSNhope.org.
