P&G Salon at the Wella Studio Pampers Moms of Paralympians
In celebration of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, P&G re-opened the P&G Salon at the Wella Studio, where moms of London 2012 Paralympians enjoyed complimentary beauty treatments. The P&G Salon at the Wella Studio was part of P&G’s international Thank You Mom campaign, which aims to celebrate and honor the hard work and commitment shown by moms all over the world.
A team of leading international Wella Professionals stylists from the US, Canada, Spain, Brazil, Norway and Finland will join Wella Professionals experts from Great Britain to serve moms of Paralympians - the heroes behind the heroes. Moms from across the world will be able to enjoy complimentary beauty treatments including hair cutting, styling, coloring and treatment, skin pampering and make-up, and manicures including patriotic nail art from brands including Wella Professionals, Sassoon, Sebastian, Nioxin, Clairol Professional, Olay, Max Factor and CoverGirl.
P&G Salon Professional President, Adil Mehboob-Kahn, says: “After P&G’s hugely successful salon operation during the London 2012 Olympics Games, Wella Professionals stylists from around the world are re-uniting again in one mission; to reward the hard work, support and dedication of moms of Paralympians with some well-earned pampering and me-time.
Delore Berenyl, mom of Joseph Berenyl, 2012 Paralympian, says: “This has been such a totally unexpected treat. The stylists were fantastic and made me feel so special. Having a salon just for moms is wonderful. Moms are always there behind the scenes supporting their children. For a company like P&G to recognize that this is an important role for athletes is amazing. I’ve loved every minute of my time here.”
The international stylist team includes four stylists from North America, including:
• Frank Farrelly Elizabeth Arden Red Door, Chicago
• Diana Macaluso Morcelle, Williamsville, New York
• Christian Kim Thriv, Cherry Hill, New Jersey
• Sandro Zamparini - Pop Hair, Toronto
