Pepper's Salon Stylists Receive ABCH Certification

Three stylists at Pepper's Salon, located in Puyallup, WA, have passed rigorous testing by the American Board of Certified Haircolorists. The certification is held by only 38 stylists in Washington, five of whom also work at Pepper's Salon.

The American Board of Certified Haircolorists is dedicated to the development of standardized criteria in certification, in order to promote credibility and consistency within the industry. The written and performance exams were held last month in Seattle, one of only 8 testing opportunities for the year. The stringent  test has been developed over the past five years by a committee of top stylists. The test measures the competence of the applicant’s hair coloring skills and proficiency.

“When scoring the exams, the American Board of Certified Haircolorists exam team looks for perfection, and the Pepper’s Salon team comes closest to achieving that standard,” explained Andre Nizetich, Master Haircolorist and President of the American Board of Certified Haircolorists.

Pepper’s Salon, an industry leader for 27 years, has been recognized six times in the past 15 years by Salon Today magazine for best practices in advanced education and customer service. Congratulations to their team members Kati Blische, Kelsie Aho, and Amber Dayton!
