Paris Fashion Week: Alexis Mabille F/W 2015

Odile Gilbert for Moroccanoil created the sleek, shiny style at Alexis Mabille.

Inspiration for the Hair Look:
Odile Gilbert was inspired by a picture of Paloma Picasso photographed by Helmut Newton to create a hairstyle with two textures: one wet effect, the other dry.

How to Create the Look:

  • Start by blow drying the hair swept back away from the face using the Moroccanoil 55 mm Round Brush.
  • Apply Moroccanoil Heat Styling Protection to whole head and smooth the lengths of the hair, strand by strand with a flat iron.
  • Separate hair in two by making a horizontal part from ear-to-ear. Apply Moroccanoil Styling Gel to the roots of the top section, piece by piece, moving right up to your forehead. Flatten your hair back and then spray withMoroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong. The texture should be very wet and slick.
  • Comb the top section of hair from forehead down to only the ears with a large wide-toothed comb so that the marks left by the teeth are visible. Finish by spraying hair with Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray to give the look a beautiful shine.
  • By contrast, the lengths of your hair retain their natural texture.
