One Light, Small City

Samantha hails from Randolph, New York—a tiny town of about 1,200 people that borders Amish country. “There’s, like, one blinking stoplight,” she laughs. So how did she come to apply for Split Ends? “I was bored,” Samantha reveals. “I was casting for different shows online. I applied to Split Ends and got a call two hours later saying that they wanted me to be on the show!”

Samantha says that after an intensive round of interviews (“Every little detail of my life they knew,” she divulges), she found out that she was flying to Los Angeles. “I opened the letter to find out where I was going—it could have been anywhere,” she breathes. “I only had that one night to prepare!”
