Olivia Wilde's recent trip to New York and appearances on the David Letterman Show and Good Morning America showed off her new hair color plus soft sensuous waves. Celebrity hairstylist, David Babaii created her looks during this trip.
David unveils his styling tips for achieving Olivia's summer beach waves. According to David, "All great hairstyles begin from within, so I am a huge advocate for both men and women taking high quality vitamins and/or supplements like Viviscal to give your hair the necessary strength and nutrition it needs to look amazing."
To maintain hair color during the summer, David recommends IT&LY HAIRFASHION's Advanced Color Protection System. He applied a small amount of my David Babaii Miracle Oil for shine. After rough drying her hair to create natural lift and volume into the hair, he created a side part and took large sections, spraying each one with IT&LY Pure Texture Spray for hold and wrapped them around the inside of a large barrel curling iron. For more natural looking waves, David alternated the direction of each section. To finish, he took the fringe and top area lightly twisting and lifting for a modern day 40's roll and securing with a large bobby pin. For added hold, spray IT&LY Pure Definition Hairspray.
For her appearance on GMA, David began with freshly washed hair and a small amount of Miracle Oil. Next, he applied IT&LY Pure Style Mousse and blow dried her hair with a medium round brush to add lift at the root and a soft curl to the ends. David created a side part allowing the fringe to fall naturally to the side while bringing the sides to the back and securing with pins for a daytime half-up, half-down look. He finished with IT&LY Pure Definition Hairspray.
