Global icon Britney Spears launched her signature sleepwear line, The Intimate Britney Spears, debuting her 2014 Fall/Winter collection during New York Fashion Week. Using BioSilk Haircare for the presentation, lead artist Albert Luiz created “Sensual Parisian” with elements of vintage romance. Sensual, feminine and delicate, the hair was comprised of two different styles with wisps of hair naturally cascading. Both braided looks worn by the models embraced a nostalgic up-do feel accented with roses and camellia flowers.

My vision for The Intimate Britney Spears is to create pieces that are sexy, luxurious, and comfortable at the same time. I am excited to introduce this collection because I feel that we accomplished exactly that."
“I created 2 different styles for this collection: a braided up and a braided down. The first being a Dutch braid that is coiled, low and off center while the second look was a French braid going up the back creating a bun. Both looks are very French boudoir," added Albert Luiz.
Get the Look (Braided Down):
1. Prepare the hair with BioSilk Silk Therapy Dry Clean Shampoo and BioSilk Volumizing Therapy Texturizing Powder to have that day after shampoo feel.
2. Do a quick set using the Dura CHI Professional Curling Iron 1 ¼″, pinning each curl. Let cool. While sectioning, lightly sprinkle additional BioSilk Therapy Texturizing Powder at the root.
3. Brush the set out and back comb the roots especially at the top front area. For here, finger smooth hair back keeping it light and airy and parted to one side.
4. Begin a Dutch braid on the heavier parted side and continue down to the nape taking in hair only from the hairline. Avoid making straight partings. Then continue up and around until you reach the other side behind the ear.
5. Continue to braid the remaining hair and start to form a circle.
6. Coil the ends in a rose design and secure with hidden pins.
7. Finish with two flowers facing the front area along with a rose leaf.
8. Rub the surface and front sides lightly with palms for that just woken up feel. Spray lightly with BioSilk Natural Hold Finishing Spray.
Get the Look (Braided Up):
1. Prepare the hair with BioSilk Silk Therapy Dry Clean Shampoo and BioSilk Volumizing Therapy Texturizing Powder to have that day after shampoo feel.
2. Section a bang area away to be used during the final steps.
3. Starting at the nape, French braid up the back until you reach the top of the head.
4. Braid the remaining tail into a 3 strand braid and clip to the side.
5. Taking the CHI Turbo Nylon Brush, release the bang area and blow dry the top fringe area smooth with the CHI TOUCH Touchscreen Blow Dryer. Spray the section lightly with BioSilk Natural Hold Hairspray.
6. To begin forming a French boudoir type bang, pull the fringe area straight back, pin it flat and then back comb using a surface backcombing technique underneath. Then smooth the top, pull it forward a bit over the forehead and then make a coil on the side. Secure with hidden pins.
7. Next, use a mesh bun maker and secure upright at the top of the head to serve as the base for the top knot.
8. Wrap and bring forward the remaining braided tail around the tufting. Use your fingers to pull the strands, spreading it over to cover. Secure with hidden pins.
9. Finish with 2 flowers as in the first look followed by BioSilk Natural Hold Finishing Spray.
