Celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippman created an elegant, neutral nail look with a peek of Swarovski crystals for Lupita Nyong'o at last night's 87 Annual Academy Awards. To complement this show-stopping dress, a sheer, pearly champagne topped the nails. Swarovski crystals were fashioned to the underside to add an innovative touch and create the ultimate glam accessory.”

- Deborah first filed and shaped the nails to an almond point.
- Next, she cleansed the cuticle and hydrated the nails, cuticles, and hands.
- She then applied a base layer to correct and conceal imperfections, brighten, prime and fill ridges for a smooth matte flawless finish before lacquer application.
- Deborah applied two coats of a sheer pearly champagne nail lacquer.
- Using a high-gloss top coat and dotting tool, Deborah liberally applied Swarovski crystals to the underside of the nails.
