Accessory designers IMAN TOLOUI, Plomo, Sticks & Stones and TOMTOM will be showcased in an installation format. Several Gen Art alumni have gone on to win the coveted CFDA emerging designer award and won the Emmy Award nominated “Project Runway” after their debut with Gen Art.

Moroccanoil presented the Gen Art Fresh Faces Los Angeles show. They will also present the 2012 Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion shows in both New York and Los Angeles to take place in September and October of next year. As the exclusive hair partner Moroccanoil will work closely with the designers to create their runway looks.

“Moroccanoil is pleased to sponsor the Fresh Faces in Fashion Los Angeles presentation,” said Carmen Tal, Co-Founder of Moroccanoil. “The worlds of fashion and beauty are closely entwined, and we especially value the inspiration and creativity of young designers. Luxury Moroccanoil professional argan oil-infused products are used by stylists at leading runway shows around the world, and we are especially delighted to support the talented designers showcased at this event.”

“We are thrilled to be bringing Fresh Faces in Fashion back to LA Fashion Week with an exceptionally talented designer line-up ready to showcase their spring 2012 collections,” said Elizabeth Shaffer, co-president of Gen Art. “We’re equally excited to be collaborating with Moroccanoil, a brand that truly understands what it means to be progressive - not only with their products - but in their support of emerging designers. So much of what distinguishes a designer is found in the details of their work and the entire look they send down the runway. From the clothes, to the styling, to the make-up and hair - these designers have to be on the cutting-edge of fashion.”
