IT&LY Hairfashion Supports Hollywood Stars

President and CEO of IT&LY Hairfashion, N.A. Richard Zucckero has been a strong supporter of Hollywood’s makeup artists and hairstylists through Union 706. The company’s support includes free bi-monthly educational classes providing the latest trends and hair color techniques stylists can implement on their stage, movie and television sets. Union members also receive free hair care and hair color products to use on cast members along with technical support by one of IT&LY Hairfashion's leading Master Colorists, Pasquale Caselle. Caselle is often requested to be on set to assist with color corrections, changes or makeovers for actors and actresses. Most recently, IT&LY Hairfashion was the proud Emerald Sponsor for the Union’s Annual Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards on February 15, 2014. At this ceremony, actor Johnny Depp received the first-ever Distinguished Artisan Award from the Guild.

Says Zucckero, “Not only did we sponsor the Guild’s award ceremony due to Johnny Depp being one of the most deserving and talented actors working today but because we had a special connection. IT&LY has supported the hair department of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies for some time now.”

In addition to Johnny Depp being on hand, comedian Tom Arnold served as the host while Jane Lynch (Glee), June Squibb (Nebraska), Johnny Knoxville (Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa), Ed Asner (UP, The Mary Tyler Moore Show), Nicollette Sheridan (Desperate Housewives), Joelle Carter (Justified), Tippi Hedren (The Birds), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Pompeii), Melissa Leo (The Fighter), Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries), Kelly Hu (Arrow), Bridget Kelly (Singer-Songwriter) and Camilla Luddington (Grey’s Anatomy) were presenters.

Today, the Hollywood Union’s membership includes over 1,800 artisans in the entertainment industry worldwide. Local 706 members are makeup artists and hairstylists who have created the looks for Hollywood’s most memorable characters and stars of stage, screen, television and even the Internet.
