Hair Styles Tips: Celebrity Stylist Mika Fowler Talks Dry Cutting

Celebrity stylist Mika Fowler is known for styling the tresses of celebrities including Olivia Munn, Emma Roberts, Rosario Dawson, Ali Fedotowsky, and Nina Dobrev to name a few. One of Mika's unique specialties is the "dry cut" where she cuts the hair after it is blow dried as opposed to when the hair is wet. Mika shares that when cutting wet it is more difficult to see the end quality and how the hair will shrink when dried. She adds that when cutting dry hair, the natural body makes it easier to cut a line that compliments the face and client's bone structure. Mika draws her inspiration for her looks from the shape of her clients' faces. She believes that a hairstyle adds to personal beauty and style.
