Hair News: The Wella Studios Atelier Miami

Dedicated to offering the very best in advanced education for salon professionals across the nation, Wella Education has announced a new satellite program with Beauty Schools of America located in South Beach, Miami. The Wella Studio Atelier program will offer select advanced education courses and creative workshops lead by The Studios Artistic Team. The Miami location will also host internal trainings and VIP events.
 
Beginning this spring, The Wella Studio Atelier Miami will offer the Master Color Expert (MCE) pre-requisites courses; Essential Color and Foiling. By next year, the entire two-week MCE course will be available. Customers will be able to apply Global Elite points at The Wella Studio Atelier locations.
 
“Our goal is to make the best in salon professional education readily available to as many of our customers as possible. The Wella Studio Atelier program adds an essential resource to our education network," explains Fabio Sementilli VP of Wella Education. “The Miami location is a pivotal element of the partnership. Miami is an affordable destination for salon professionals who are unable to travel to Los Angeles or New York, now stylists in South Florida as well as our broader customer base from the U.S. and Puerto Rico will be able to take advantage of this business-building resource.”
 
Wella Education kicked off this new partnership on Sunday February 8th on the Marriott Stanton South Beach Hotel Rooftop. Over 90 local salons attended “Inspiration Under Stars” which showcased the newest technology and innovation from the Wella brands. Guests mingled with local celebrity stylist Oribe and had front row seats for presentations from Wella Top Artists Sonya Dove and Eric Lindsey, as well as industry icon Stephen Moody. The next day, a group of stylists from the area, attended a Creative Workshop lead by  Carole Protat, Wella Education’s Creative Director.  Attending stylists created editorial looks with new products and techniques from Wella Professionals, and closed out the day with a photo session.
