Hair News: Salon Week Kicks Off

Salon Week, the customer appreciation event that connects the country’s top stylists, announced that Arrojo Studio has signed on to participate in Salon Week’s inaugural Fall event to be held October 1 – 7, 2012.

After 20 years working as a stylist and creative director for a variety of celebrated hair care brands, Nick opened his own salon in SoHo in 2001. In 2002, he signed on with TLC’s hit TV show, What Not To Wear. Beginning with just six chairs and four hairdressers, his salon’s commitment to excellence, integrity and innovation over the last 10 years has resulted in more than 100 employees in a 13,000 square foot facility. Arrojo Studio now serves more than 1,000 clients per week! During Salon Week, Arrojo Studio will be providing the discount offers to both current and prospective clients including 50% off a haircut with Nick Arrojo, 50% off a cut and blow-dry with treatment and 50% off single process color with treatment.

“I believe in being inclusive, not exclusive,” said Arrojo. “Salon Week is great because it opens our doors to new people. I want to elevate perceptions of hairdressing, and this event puts more people into our chairs to see the creative, fashion-forward work that we do. We're excited to share our passion and artistry, and to make lots of new friends look and feel fabulous."

Over 20 salons each in the cities of greater Boston and New York City as well as the state of New Jersey are expected to participate in Salon Week’s inaugural Fall event. Salons receive support from Salon Week industry and media sponsors including Goldwell, Nioxin, Oribe Hair Care, P&G Professional, Sebastian and Wella.
