Guest Blog: Trend Alert - Always Blushing

Don’t be fooled – pink hair isn’t just for princesses and mermaids. Add a couple of streaks to an already icy-cool mane and you’ve got yourself a fresh, feminine and flirty look.

I introduce the "Always Blushing" trend, a look easily adaptable to clients who desire a girlish change but don’t want to stray too far from the sidewalk. I created this look during the Sebastian Creative Immersion class at the #WellaStudioLA.

Let me show you how:

• Cut bangs to slightly above the brow line with some fringes a little longer than the rest.
• Add soft, baby pink highlights, focusing the color on the ends of the hair.
• I like to spice things up so I colored in her bangs. What’s life if you can’t live on the wild side?
• Strategically curl hair so it looks bent. Keep the tips of hair and bangs pin-straight. What a beaut!
