Gregg Emery New President of Farouk Systems

Farouk Shami, Founder and Chairman of Farouk Systems, has announced Gregg Emery as the new president of Farouk Systems, official hair care sponsor of the Miss Universe Organization and makers of CHI and Biosilk brands.

With more than 20 years experience in the professional salon industry, Emery joined Farouk Systems in 2009 as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Promotions. During this time, he has helped build the company’s field sales and has consistently focused on driving customer value that has contributed to Farouk’s recognition as the leader in hair care products. In his new position, Emery will oversee sales, marketing, shows and education at the company headquarters in Houston, Texas.

“I’m very happy to take the reins as president,” says Emery. “I have a very talented team to work with. Each person is an expert in their own right, and I’m confident we can take Farouk Systems to levels previously unseen.”

Emery is a native of Ohio and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
