Are you confident enough in your upstyle skills to take on the Master? Joico International Artistic Director Damien Carney has thrown down a challenge. Enter the Drab to Fab Head to Head video challenge and if you win, you will be flown to Hollywood to be filmed as you compete with Damien on one of his Drab to Fab webisodes. Here’s what you have to do to get to Hollywood:
1. Create a short video outlining or depicting your updo. The video must be a minimum of 30 seconds or a maximum of 120 seconds. Use a camera, iPhone, iPad—anything that creates a video format, in line with YouTube guidelines.
2. Upload the video to the Drab to Fab Head to Head Facebook portal before midnight on July 15, 2012. (Only one entry per person.)
3. Keep your fingers crossed!
Damien himself, along with his team, will review all of the entries and select five finalists. Finalist videos will be posted online and open to an online vote open to all, stylists and consumers alike! Voting begins July 19, 2012, and ends August 2, 2012.
The winner will be flown to Hollywood, all expenses paid. There will be dinner with Damien and the Joico team and then it’s ON! Time to tape the Drab to Fab webisode and go head to head with Damien! The grand prize also includes a year’s supply of assorted Joico products and the chance to display your mad skills to the entire Drab to Fab audience!
“I want to see how good you are so I know what I’m up against,” says Damien. “So create the most incredible editorial upstyle that looks fresh and current and then let’s get together. Submit your videos now!”
