Get the Look: Quick and Easy Twisted Rope Braid

Labor Day is almost here! Help your clients look beautiful for this unofficial end-of-summer weekend, whether she's poolside, firing up the grill, or headed off for one last getaway of summer. This simple, yet beautiful, twisted rope braid (seen here on actress Nina Dobrev at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards) from Pureology is the perfect look for summer's final hurrah!

Get the Look:

1. On damp hair, apply Pureology Smooth Perfection Shaping Control Gel (launching this September) evenly from roots to tips. Blow-dry with a medium round brush, creating shape and volume.
2. Gather all the lengths to the side and divide into 2 sections. Allow pieces around the face to fall out.

4. With a section of hair in each hand, twist both sections to the right until all the hair is twisted, creating two strands of twisted hair.
5. Cross the right strand over the left strand and continue this patter until you achieve a rope braid.
