Celebrity hairstylist Kylee Heath recently worked with Kristen Stewart for the 7th Annual Thirst Gala on Monday, June 13th in Los Angeles, CA. “We wanted the hair to be cool and fun in contrast with the beautiful dress," said Heath, who styled the actress' tresses into a cool, asymmetrical look. Recreate this style in the salon with Heath's how-to, below!

  1. Says Heath, "Starting on damp hair, I applied Oscar Blandi volumizing spray to the roots and applied a small amount of Iles Formula serum to the ends. Using a round brush, I blew out the crown section of hair. I then lightly dried the rest of the while scrunching it. I wanted to work with the natural texture a bit.
  2. "I then used the Enzo Milano figure 8 iron - only wrapping the hair around it lightly and holding it on the heat and quickly releasing to create a bend - not curl or wave, really. I also plugged in a 1/2-inch iron - using it to break up some of the bends and add a mix to the texture. I also used it to bend some of the ends.
  3. "I ran my hands through the hair a bit and teased the roots at the crown. I rubbed a small amount of the  Iles Formula serum and applied it through the now dry hair.
  4. "To finish the look, I sprayed Shu Uemura sheer laquer hairspray into my hands and applied it to the ends and to smooth out the right side, which I then tucked behind the right ear."
