Model and actress Carmen Electra recently went to the Ramirez Tran Salon in Beverly Hills for a hair appointment with Matrix Celebrity Colorist Daniel Moon. Daniel created a fun new look for Carmen, saying, "Carmen Electra was amazing and her haircolor looks perfect for her. We called it 'Electric Sorbet,' created with Matrix Colorgraphics Lacquers for high-shine and on-trend color results."

Recreate Carmen's Electric Sorbet pink with Daniel's formulas and technique, below!

Get the Look:

  • FORMULA A: 2 oz. Light Peach and a drop of Magenta
  • FORMULA B: 1 oz. Light Pink & 1 oz. Light Peach
  • FORMULA C: 1 oz. Light Peach & 1 oz. Clear
  1. Color was applied to Carmen’s previously-lightened hair.
  2. Section the hair in 4 sections leaving the hairline out. Start in the back at the nape.
  3. Apply Formula A slightly away from the scalp down to the ends. Working up the section alternate Formulas A & B throughout the back and sides of the head.
  4. Apply Formula C in the same manner to the hairline to keep lightness around the face and more natural-looking.
  5. Process for 30 minutes.
  6. Rinse thoroughly, cleanse and condition with Matrix Total Results Color Obsessed Shampoo and Conditioner.

STYLE

  1. Apply a dime-sized amount of Matrix Total Results So Long Damage Iron Tamer to damp hair and roughly blow-dry using your fingers to rake through.
  2. Next, use a 1 ½-inch curling wand and loosely wind the hair around the barrel directing it away from the face. Leave approximately 2 inches uncurled at the ends and repeat throughout.
  3. Lastly, spray Matrix Total Results High Amplify Hairspray for flexible hold and loosen the waves with a simple head shake.
