Give your client the blues, a beautiful combo of ocean, sky and sapphire blues, with this how-to from Toni Rose Larson.
STEPS:
Client was a level 5.
- Pre-lightened with lightener 40 Vol. + Olaplex using the Balayage technic. Pre-lighten client to a level 9/10!
- Balayage beginning at the nape and working up to the crown of head isolating sections with Saran Wrap.
- Balayage both sides, isolate each section and process at room temperature for 45 min.
- Rinse, shampoo and apply Olaplex #2 Bond Perfector. Allow to remain on clients hair for 5 min.
- Shampoo, condition and blow dry.
Formula #1 2oz Pravana Vivids Blue
Formula #2 1oz Pravana Vivids Blue & 2oz Clear
Formula #3 3oz Pravana Neon Blue
- Apply Formula #1 At clients base pulling color down 3 inches, working around the entire head.
- Apply Formula #2 directly on to formula #1, pulling color down approximately 5 inches Melting Colour together.
- Apply Formula #3 directly on to formula #2 melting color, pulling color through clients ends.
Tips: After all color was applied, Toni went back in with a towel, where client was a level 10. She wiped and removed color to achieve lighter tones and dimension! Where client was a level 9, re-apply Foumula #3 so that color pops! Be creative!
