Jane Wurwand, Founder and Owner of Dermalogica, recently served as Keynote Speaker at the United Nations in New York City on the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day. Wurwand addressed approximately 350 entrepreneurs from around the world as the highlight of a day-long conference titled “Investing in Women and Entrepreneurship”. The Conference was jointly hosted by Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) and United Nations Office for Partnerships as part of the UN’s “Millennium Development Goals”—“MDG 3,” or Goal #3: “Promote Gender Quality and Empower Women”.
