The nail look at Prabal Gurung comes straight from the clothes, mimicking the flow and color of dresses found in the collection. “There’s quite a bit of pastel yellow and flowing gowns, and the movement of the design was based on that,” explains Sally Hansen lead manicurist Madeline Poole, who advises the techs to just go with the flow as they paint the models’ nails. After applying two coats of Sally Hansen Mum’s the Word, the techs use a striping brush dipped in Sally Hansen Let’s Snow to draw swooping shapes on random nails.
