NYFW Get the Look: Backstage with essie at Delpozo
To complement Delpozo’s colorful Spring/Summer 2015 collection, Julie Kandalec for essie created a coral negative space half-moon nail that was reminiscent of the sun rising in the spring by using tart deco and matte about you on the hands. To complete the overall look, she used one coat of limo-scene on the toes.

The inspiration behind Korto Momolu's recent SS15 presentation at New York Fashion Week was all about high energy and bright colors. Says Renny Vasquez, lead makeup artist for SheaMoisture Cosmetics, “Korto Momolu’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection exuded confidence with intensely pigmented pops of color and shimmering gold metallic fabric. To bring this same energy to the face, I chose to create a high-shine, bright pink lip that popped against the models’ fresh skin and sweet champagne smoky eye.”

NYFW Get the Look: Mod Mohawks at Marc by Marc Jacobs by Guido
With inspiration from Björk and the neo-hippie phase of the late-80’s, Redken Creative Consultant Guido created a mod-Mohawk with an innocent, girly vibe for the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2015 show. Mixing girly with punk, this charming style looks like it came from a rave to the runway. Using Redken’s new Wind Blown 05 Dry Finishing Spray, Guido created a Mohawk-like look by sectioning the hair into four small ponytails and twisting them down into tiny, tight knots for a young, fun look with a hint of toughness.
