This natural, minimal hairstyle created a rich, sophisticated feeling on the runway. Guido blow-dried the hair smooth using Satinwear 02 Prepping Blow-Dry Lotion, and then created form and structure at the top of the hair using Fashion Work 12 Versatile Hairspray for a contrast of textures.

NYFW Get the Look: Mod Mohawks at Marc by Marc Jacobs by Guido
With inspiration from Björk and the neo-hippie phase of the late-80’s, Redken Creative Consultant Guido created a mod-Mohawk with an innocent, girly vibe for the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2015 show. Mixing girly with punk, this charming style looks like it came from a rave to the runway. Using Redken’s new Wind Blown 05 Dry Finishing Spray, Guido created a Mohawk-like look by sectioning the hair into four small ponytails and twisting them down into tiny, tight knots for a young, fun look with a hint of toughness.

NYFW Get the Look: Backstage with Deborah Lippman at Donna Karan
Donna Karan's Spring/Summer 2015 collection was full of bright, graphic colors. To complement the look, lead manicurist Deborah Lippman created a soft, matte, grey nail. Says Lippman, “Giving a nod to the natural and monochromatic soft grey eyelid that was created by Charlotte Tilbury, I fashioned a sheer grey veil on the nail. I chose to overlay it with a matte topcoat to add a bit of texture. The modern finish pairs nicely with the graphic colors from her Spring/Summer 2015 collection.”Get the Look:
