Fall 2010 NYFW: Moroccanoil at L.A.M.B.

Gwen Stefani's got it all: killer style, a great body, a happy family, and L.A.M.B., her long-running (in celeb-cum-designer years), rather successful clothing line.  And backstage at the showing of her fall 2010 L.A.M.B. collection, it becomes increasingly apparent that this iconic beauty also has immaculate taste and clear vision when choosing the makeup and hair looks to coincide with her wares. Her longtime mane man, Danilo, who is working with Moroccanoil, testifies that, yes, this look is quintessential Gwen. "She inspires and collaborates; we've been doing this together forever!" Of the style, he notes, "we wanted to bring retro to a contemporary note, so we took a bit of a '30s inspiration and are making it 'today,' which means it can be a little more tousled, less finished."

This tousled effect is heightened by Moroccanoil's Hydrating Styling Cream, which Danilo claims is a "source of condition and shine. We're adapting it to our texturing of the hair." To up the style's coolness factor, Danilo introduces a short, clip-in fringe by Hair Do. "It uses this new fiber called 'true to life' that you can manipulate with a blow-dryer, flat iron and curling iron," he explains excitedly. "The sides are longer, as well. You can shape them and blend them into your hair seamlessly."

To finish, a healthy misting of Moroccanoil's Luminous Hairspray sets the look, providing weightless hold with even more conditioning benefits.
