On May 19th, 2011, Indianapolis business owner David Lowry hosted the DL Salon on 49th and Penn Grand Opening Event with over 100 guests in attendance. ELLE Magazine only hosts 5 events per year, so DL Salon was honored that their Grand Opening was selected to be one of these events. The event included complimentary blow outs to all attendees, appetizers from Cafe Patachou, music from local DJ - DJ Gabby Love and raffle prizes. As a grand prize raffle, DL Salon gave 6 months free haircuts to one lucky winner.
