Crimson Peak

What inspires you most?
The contrasting mix of urban and suburban in [my hometown] Los Angeles is great—you have those who want to push it to the edge and those who like the more mainstream. In the art world, Man Ray inspires me with his photography and vision...how he plays with dark and light. His photos take you to a dark place and a pace of beauty. He was able to see beauty in everything.

What inspired this look?
Clouds and sky and the shadows they cast underneath. The look has a lot of texture and volume—it's a "cloudy silhouette" with darkness at the roots deep into the mid-shaft and then lighter red tones create definition and texture on the top.
