CPNA Links up with Social Marketing Experts
With a variety of social networking tools available in today’s digital field, it is important for a brand to choose appropriate online marketing methods that will deliver a clear, effective message to their target audience. Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) invites attendees to learn and gain insider information from three online marketing professionals with extensive experience outside of the beauty industry. They will provide helpful tips and insight on how to succeed online with social media.
Moderated by Marc Birenbaum, executive editor for Beauty Store Business magazine, the “Social Marketing: The Power of Social Tools” session will be held at Cosmoprof North America on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Topics covered in this session include identifying the most appropriate social networking platforms for your brand, and how to implement programs that reflect your business model and ad campaign messages. In addition, experts will discuss how you can utilize online consumer feedback to gain insight about your company. The conference participants will bring their outside industry experience to share with attendees.

Ron Robinson | BeautyStat.com | Founder and CEO – Ron Robinson is the founder and CEO of BeautyStat.com, an online beauty community and social media agency that reaches more than 20 million consumers. He is a veteran product development executive who has worked for leading beauty companies such as The Estée Lauder Companies, L'Oreal, and Avon Products. He currently works with beauty brands, retailers and agencies to connect them to the BeautyStat community for online PR events, advertising and rich consumer insights. Robinson will talk about how online consumer feedback can be used to help develop / adjust products, create marketing strategies and further build brand awareness.
Jeremy Thompson | Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority / R&R Partners | Corporate Director, Media & Digital Activation – Thompson leads the social media team at the advertising and PR agency, R&R Partners, where they develop various campaigns for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, which is tasked with promoting Las Vegas to the world. Through their various social media platforms, the LVCVA has over one million followers worldwide. With their successful campaigns such as, “What Happens Here, Stays Here,” Thompson will discuss what social media strategies and outlets he uses to interact with the online community and encourage visitors to come to Las Vegas.
