Beauty Schools of America has announced that this year’s Beauty and the Barber tradeshow will be co-hosted by Christopher Dove and John C. Simpson, Founders of CoCr8 and industry icons. The one-day beauty and barbering trade event is scheduled to take place Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Miami Airport Convention Center, from 10:00am-10:00pm. Beauty and the Barber is an event that will fuse highly recognized brands, top industry professionals, independent artists and emerging stylists with live performances from prominent DJ and radio personality, Alex Sensation, and reggaeton artist, Jay Alvarez.
The 172,000 SF of exhibition space will be dedicated to 100 exhibitor booths, live demonstrations, private seminars and workshops. Interested exhibitors will have the chance to display their products and services, expand networking and distribution channels, and strengthen their brand awareness.
The event will feature educational platforms with national industry professionals, on Advanced Technical Cutting, Hair Color Application, New Trends & Techniques, Shear & Straight Razor Sculpting and much more! Industry professionals and students can take part in the following competition categories: Fashion Editorial Makeup, Avant Garde, FX/Theatrical Character, Artists Choice Creature or Cosplay Special Effects Makeup, and Body Paint. Barber categories include; Fastest Fade, Free Style and Fade with beard. The event will conclude with a presentation of awards and honorable mentions.
