The music video for the song has received over 175 million hits on YouTube, and has no doubt influenced the song's rise to number one on the charts. The unique concept for the music video has been parodied on Saturday Night Live and inspired a heap of copycats on YouTube.

Last night the 2011 AMAs were held in Los Angeles, and though I love the musical performances, one my favorite things about award shows is checking out the fabulous fashion, makeup and hairstyles. I couldn't have been more excited when my new favorite discovery Hot Chelle Rae won the award for Favorite New Artist. And I have to say bassist Ian Keaggy's hair looked great.
