More than 3,000 hairstylists and salon owners from over 24 countries attended this year’s Gathering on August 4 and 5 at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Inspired by lyrics from the Beatles, Paul Mitchell’s intensive two‐day education event celebrated the theme of “rEvolution” with live music, brilliant choreography, whimsical wardrobe, incredible acrobatics and several surprises in between.
A cut-a-thon to raise money and awareness for The Village of Hope Homeless Shelter will be held on Oct 5 from 12pm to 5pm at Tribeca Salon in Aliso Viejo. Salon visitors will enjoy live music, raffles, food, refreshments, balloon diva for the kids and $25 haircuts. All the money raised will go to the Village of Hope.
“Tribeca Destination Salon is participating in this cut-a-thon because we believe that volunteerism and community service are important to the success and growth and well-being of our community,” states Timothy Telles, owner.
On July 24th, over 100 guests enjoyed appetizers from Gravina Malibu and fine wines from Morandell Imports and celebrated the grand re-opening of YUKA STYLE BH. The evening featured a hair and fashion show with 12 international models and a live hair show. Guests included actresses Bai Ling, Judy Tenuta, Patrick Darbo, actor Blaine Gray and Judith Mancini.

Earthly Body launched the 4th of July weekend by rocking for a good cause. On July 3rd, Kevin Wachs from Earthly Body joined his band Pacific to drum in a charity show at the Canyon Club in Agoura, CA. The show supported the Firemen's Fund, a charity dedicated to helping the families of LAFD firefighters facing a serious crisis, such as being injured or killed in the line of duty.
On Saturday, June 21, Andor'e Salon in Beverly Hills hosted a grand opening launch party. Guests sipped champagne and nibbled hors d'oeuvres provided by local eateries while admiring the sophisticated, open feel of the salon, decorated with stunning bouquets of pink roses and all-white orchids. Attendees were also able to sample select beauty products and services, including complimentary lashes, that will be available exclusively at the full-service salon.
