Produced by the Professional Beauty Association (PBA), the 2014 International Salon and Spa Expo Long Beach (ISSE Long Beach) continues to be the West Coast's largest and most influential total beauty event. An energetic crowd of nearly 40,000 beauty professionals from around the world attended the show. Meanwhile, on the exhibit floor more than 120 brands exhibited their latest products and tools. To celebrate the event, NYX Cosmetics hosted an intimate party at Regne Haute Blow Dry Salon. The party's guests included star star makeup artists as well as beauty bloggers and vloggers.

In an ongoing effort to ensure that every nail tech in the country knows the Cuccio name, educator Marilyn Garcia led her team in teaching attendees at the San Juan Beauty Show about Cuccio Veneer, Cuccio Colour and Cuccio Naturale. Held in November, the largest show in Puerto Rico attracted record numbers of attendees and exhibitors. In addition to offering products at show prices, the team was there doing demos and on hand to answer all questions from interested beauty professionals.

The First Annual Night of Wigs and Wishes, held on November 3 in Berlin, NJ, worked to bring hope to cancer patients and their loved ones. The event was hosted by the charity, Friends Are By Your Side, an organization founded by Keratin Complex's International Artistic Director Martino Cartier, that donates wigs to those undergoing chemotherapy and other forms of cancer treatment. Cartier founded the charity in May of 2011 with the hope that he could help cancer patients feel beautiful by providing wigs to those who had lost their hair because of treatment.
Recently, more than 400 people from all over North America made their way to Dallas, Texas for Kevin Murphy's WHITE.BOX, a vast, two-day event that included seminars, classes, photo shoots, and a grand finale show that featured the latest hairstyling and makeup trends.
