The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) recently announced the winners of its 2014 Lifetime Member Scholarship. Four winners, Thu-Trang Tran of California, LaTanya Williams of California, Marylynn Wormley of New York, and Susie Young of California, all received $1,000 each in recognition of their dedication to furthering their educational development.

Old stuffy classrooms are a thing of the past. Uberliss recently offered an interactive online training session for select stylists. The class was presented through Google Hangouts using Google Glass. Attendees were able to view a live presentation of the Uberliss Smoothing System from the comfort of their own homes. The Uberliss Glass Class took place on Monday, February 24, at Glam Studio by Ben in Chicago, IL.

The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) is now accepting applications for the 2014 Minerva Beauty Scholarship. Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students currently enrolled in an accredited cosmetology school. The application deadline is May 31, 2014.
