The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) has announced the winners of the Minerva Beauty Cosmetology Scholarships. Minerva Beauty, Inc. is a privately-held, American-owned company based in Monroe, GA and is a leading manufacturer and distributor of salon equipment. For the last four years, PBA has been partnering with Minerva Beauty to award five $1,000 scholarships to students currently enrolled in an accredited cosmetology program. The following are the five 2015 Minerva Beauty Cosmetology Scholarship recipients:

The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) recently announced that the International Salon and Spa Expo (ISSE) in Long Beach has been named one of the top 25 fastest-growing trade shows for attendance by Trade Show News Network (TSNN). This achievement will be celebrated in Atlanta, GA at the 6th annual TSNN awards from November 6-8, 2015. These awards honor the top fastest-growing shows in attendance and net square footage.

The newest addition to PBA Beauty Week, 2015 Beauty Pitch allows established and up-and-coming beauty or personal care product companies the unique opportunity to present to a panel of top investors including renowned entrepreneurs Mark Cuban and John Paul DeJoria.

The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) and Michael Shaun Corby have developed a 3-part web series to introduce NAHA to emerging stylists and first-time entrants. Those interested can participate in a single session or attend all three to get an insider’s perspective on how to successfully enter NAHA. Webinar topics include the benefit of entering NAHA, what NAHA judges look for when evaluating entries, and how to create a successful NAHA photo shoot.
