George Schaeffer, President and CEO of Aloxxi International, and Founder of OPI Products, celebrates the opening of Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion. Launchpad Publisher Deborah Carver is on hand to witness the opening and help celebrate her longtime friend's good fortune. In 2011, Schaeffer helped fund the Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion, and as a thank you, the hospital has named the lobby after the beauty industry philantropist.

When high-profile celebrities are seen using a product, it can help reassure consumers about the true quality of a product. Models walking the runway at Lauren Moffatt’s Catskills-inspired Fall/Winter 2013 collection, wore OPI Nail Lacquer. Models porting woodsy/country chic clothes and Moffatt’s new line of winter accessories were manicured with the pinky nude shade Don’t Pretzel My Buttons.

OPI joined designer Joanna Mastroianni at New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center. Models walked the runway in black, gold, silver and bronze dresses, with other garments featuring bolder, jewel-toned hues of ruby red and amethyst. The rich, metallic hues seen throughout the line were continued with nails, which were polished to a graphite silver sheen by layering OPI nail lacquer in Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous over OPI nail lacquer in My Private Jet.

OPI joined Jenni Kayne for the Fall/Winter 2013 presentation. Models wore OPI nail lacquer in MonSooner or Later. This bright coral red hue added a bold pop of color to the collection's mix of dark camel, black, nude, emerald and gold. OPI joined Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony at its official New York Fashion Week debut Saturday. Inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement, the line had a ‘60s flare featuring a color palette of black, pink, baby blue and cream. OPI nail lacquer in My Very First Knockwurst, which was also worn by Sevigny for the collection’s Fall/Winter 2013 look book, added a warm neutral complement to the eclectic clothing.

Singer-songwriter Adele walked the 55th Annual Grammy Awards red carpet wearing OPI nail lacquer in Hands Off My Kielbasa! topped with OPI Matte Nail Envy to accessorize her chic custom Valentino Couture floral embroidered dress. Adele won Best Pop Solo Performance for "Set Fire to the Rain” at last night’s award ceremony.

NYFW Fall 2013 Nails: OPI at Houghton
OPI joined designer Katharine Polk for the Houghton show! The models wore tips painted with OPI nail lacquer in Samoan Sand and topped with an extravagant lace featured in several of Polk's designs.
