On Sunday, September 27th, L’Oreal PPD brands - including Matrix, Redken, Kerastase, Mizani, NYX and essie - took part in an inspiring day of giving back to the community. Led by Matrix Artistic Director Lenny Strand, L'Oreal USA brought a full day of pampering to the residents at Los Angeles' Downtown Women's Center - an organization that provides housing and other services to women overcoming poverty and homelessness.

Matrix Celebrity Stylists George Papanikolas and Nick Stenson worked with Olivia Culpo, Dylan Penn and Amber Fillerup (The Barefoot Blonde), who attended the LC Lauren Conrad Runway Show during New York Fashion Week. All three hairstyles were inspired by the romantic feminism of the collection.

Last weekend, Matrix Artistic Director Nicholas French hosted a special educational event, Skyfall Academy, at his home in sunny Palm Springs, California. Attendees included up-and-coming hair stylists – all of whom were selected winners of the Regis POP Art contest. The POP Art contest was entered by over 300 stylists from the Regis Premium Division, and the top 24 winners got to attend this once-in-a-lifetime event as part of their prize.
