FHI Heat collaborated with the XIII Latin Grammy Awards, participating in the only official talent Gift Lounge backstage. FHI Heat has a wide assortment of hair tools and products customized professionally for different hair textures. World renowned artists like Kany Garcia and Shaila Durcal as well as the Mexican legend, Pedro Fernandez, dropped by during rehearsals excited to receive their FHI Heat goodies.

FHI's Special Edition Childhood Cancer Awareness flat iron helps raise funds for research and family support for children with cancer. Recently, Mario Lopez showed his support for FHI Heat's Childhood Cancer Awareness iron! He autographed the FHI Heat iron and is donating 2 VIP passes to meet him on the set of EXTRA.

FHI Heat collaborated with the MTV VMA Radio Forum at the 2012 Video Music Awards. FHI Heat participated in the only Official Celebrity Retreat at the MTV Video Music Awards backstage at the Staples Center.
Cancer remains the number one disease-related cause of childhood death. Each year, over 160,000 children are diagnosed and approximately 25% will not survive. This fall, FHI Heat, known for its Limited Edition irons will launch its Special Edition Childhood Cancer Awareness flat iron to raise funds for research and family support. FHI has also teamed up with SoCal’s Q104.7's DJ Crisco Kidd to host his third Hair-Drive.
On August 6, 2012 FHI Heat received a call from Customs in Humble, TX to notify the company that over 21,000 FHI Heat Counterfeit Flat Irons were confiscated by the Port of Houston authorities – Houston Seaport Trade Team. The Port of Houston alerted Homeland Security as well as the US Customs and Border Protection Office of International Trade. FHI Heat is working diligently with Houston and Washington D.C. to shut down counterfeiting. At this time no arrests have been made but the investigation continues.
FHI Heat recently appeared on NBC's celebrity news show Extra, the second longest-running entertainment magazine on television. On the May 14th, 2012 episode, FHI Heat's President Shauky Gulamani was seen alongside host Mario Lopez at The Grove in Los Angeles as the company was featured as the Extra Friends with Benefits Giveaway of the day, offering viewers the chance to win one of five Platform Flat Irons.
Hair Artist Shauky Gulamani creates the Starlette collection inspired by seduction and romance drawn from Hollywood red carpet and fashion. Gulamani uses FHI Heat Styling Tools to reflect the evolution of textures with no boundaries.
