Jen: Long Layer
This beautifully sexy hair has the foundation of a long layered haircut. The center of energy cutting technique makes this a fast and easy haircut.
Step 1: Section from top of head to center of each ear, dividing front from back hair.
Secure the back hair out of the way.
Step 2: Gather the front hair and comb to top of head.
Hold hair at 90 degrees and cut to desired legth.
Step 3: Section from top of head to center of each ear, dividing from back hair.
Secure the front hair out of the way.
Gather the back hair and comb to center back, cut blunt
Step 4: Gather the back hair and comb to top of head.
Hold the hair at 90 degrees and cut at established length from front section.
Step 5: Section a triangle 2 1/2" deep to the outer corner of eyes.
Gather fringe air and comb hair to center below the chin.
Cut a blunt fringe or elevate slightly to create softness.
Step 6: Point cut from corner of fringe to side length to blend.

Katie: Wedge
This playful haircut has the foundation of a wedge shape. The dramatic statement of short hair and artfully placed haircolour gives a modern edge to a timeless classic.
Step 1: Section from top of head to center of each ear, dividing front from back hair.
Section horizontally across the flat of head, dividing the back into two sections.
Cut perimeter 1" below nape hairline.
Step 2: Establish a guide length at the top of bottom section 4" long.
Connect the guide length to the nape length.
Cut bottom section following the guide lengths.
Step 3: Comb top back section to the 4" guide length and cut.
Step 4: Establish a guide length at the top of head 4" long.
Connect guide to the flat of head.
Cut top back section following the guide lengths, pivoting around the head.
Step 5: Section from top of head to center of each ear, securing back hair out of the way.
Comb front sides and fringe into natural fall and cut your desired perimeter length.
Step 6: Section a 2" wide rectangle from top of head to front hairline.
Cut a 4" guide at the top of head.
Use horizontal subsections and moving forward toward the front hairline cut remaining hair.
Step 7: Connect the hair from rectangle section to side perimeter.

Lauren: Classic Bob
This elegant haircut has the foundation of a classic bob. Twisting and razor cutting small sections creates a soft, slightly graduated classic bob with a chic new feel.
Step 1: Section from top of head to center of each ear, dividing front from back hair.
Comb hair into natural fall.
Step 2: Use 1” subsections and twist the hair.
Cut with a razor at desired length.
Elevating will create softness.
Cut the entire back perimeter using this method.
Step 3: Section from top of head to center of each ear, securing the back hair.
Comb front sides into natural fall.
Step 4: Use the back perimeter as a guide length for the front side.
Continue using 1” subsections and twist the hair.
Cut with a razor at desired length along perimeter.
Elevate slightly to create softness
