It’s time for me to come clean: I, Alyson Rose Osterman, am a curlie. There, I’ve said it! While this may not seem like a big deal to most, for me, this is monumental. You see, for the past 13 years, I have lived my life as a straight-walker (a curly-headed, straight-haired wannabe)—ever since that fateful day in sixth grade gym period when the HBIC at my middle school taunted me for my curly locks in front of the whole class…I was mortified.
