Well, I have officially been byu-tified! After years of hearing all about the wonder of Byu-ti Hair Therapy in Santa Monica, California, I was able to try out one of their custom-formulated "hair blender" treatments for myself--and believe me, I was not disappointed.
There's nothing better than ringing in the weekend with a stellar blow-out paired with an AMAZING back bar scalp massage! Last Friday, I visited the newly opened Rossano Ferretti Hair Spa in Beverly Hills, California, and oh my goodness, what a treat. Massimo--a stylist in for a month from Italy--treated my tresses to the new Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil Shampoo, and let me tell you that my hair looked positively radiant all weekend.
Last week I attended the L'Oreal Professionnel/Juan Juan Salon-hosted "Cocktails at Twilight" event with Jennifer J (who colored many a mane--including Kristen Stewart's--on the Breaking Dawn set)! Beauty bloggers and editors alike gathered round to glean a glimpse of what it's like to work on a major production, as well as learn about the latest trends in color.

Off all the industries in the world, I really feel that probeauty is one of the best at giving back---between cut-a-thons, makeovers and even nationwide company fundraisers, you guys really rock!
So Launchpad felt that the least we could do to give back recently was by donating beauty products to be gifted/auctioned at the Nataline Sarkisyan Foundation Fashion Legacy event.
As my wedding day nears, it's time to tie down those odds and ends--one of those being my makeup.
Don't get me wrong, I know well-done makeup for the day-of is very important. Every bride wants to feel beautiful on her special day, PLUS, pictures--both good and bad--last forever!
Wedding bells are just around the corner for me! Luckily, I had the privilege of getting my hair coiffed by superstylist Mohammad Rahebi over the weekend to get a couple ideas of how I want my hair to look for the big day!
I laughed, my mom cried (tears of joy, I assure you!), and Mohammad made the entire experience wonderful.

I'm still winding down from this weekend's Oribe Backstage event, where I was whisked away to Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel and Casino to celebrate the annual education/inspiration spectacle.
