The beauty industry is mourning the loss of Roger Perreault, who passed away at age 69 on May 31, 2012 at his home in Longs, South Carolina.
This well-loved industry veteran began his career in 1969 as a distributor sales consultant at the A.J. Houle Beauty Supply Company (currently NEKA Salon Network) in Manchester, New Hampshire, where he eventually became a partner. In 1983, he sold his interest in the company and moved to California spending the next 25 years immersed in the beauty industry.
Perreault was sales manager for Paris Ace Beauty Supply in Los Angeles, a manufacturer sales representative for Delger/Fligelman Associates, a partner in the rep. group Childers & Company, and vice-president of Freeman Associates. He went on to co-own Armstrong McCall Beauty Supply of El Cajon with his wife, Susan, and they later co-owned Innovative Beauty Concepts, the manufacturers of the Kami Nail Art, Super Pro Files, and Nail Esque brands.
Perreault served in the United States Air Force, was a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, sang with the Low Country Chorus of Myrtle Beach, and was a member of the Myrtle Beach Corvette Club. He leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Susan Holt Perreault, his four children, four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
