The opportunity to receive $50,000 in funding would allow Beauty Bus Foundation to bring beauty into the lives of 400 more patients and caregivers. Through this initiative by Pepsi, individuals can apply for grants to benefit a variety of projects and site visitors can vote for the best ideas for funding. Pepsi accepts up to 1,000 new ideas each month and then allows individuals to vote for their organization of choice up to three times a day online, via text message and on Facebook. The organizations with the most votes win.

“We worked very hard to submit an application that would be accepted into the Pepsi Refresh Project. In an effort to support those who generate innovative, optimistic ideas, the Pepsi Refresh Project will award more than $20 million in 2010 to move communities forward. The Beauty Bus Foundation has received the support of beauty industry superstars such as Bosley Professional Strength, Sephora, OPI, Bare Escentuals and Cargo Cosmetics, and countless professional beauty volunteers.
