Aveda will mark the one-year anniversary of the launch of Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray with a 6-week long photo contest on Aveda’s Facebook page. The contest will be kicked off on Sky High Hair Day - Tuesday July 19, 2011 at 4 p.m. eastern - via a free Livestream broadcast featuring Ricardo Dinis and Allen Ruiz from the Aveda North America Artistic Team. Allen and Ricardo will talk trends and create four distinct looks with Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray.

Following the Livestream broadcast, Aveda guests, network stylists and Aveda Institute students will be able to enter the contest by submitting photos of their ‘Sky High Hairstyles.’ Finalists will be selected by a panel of judges in August, then Aveda Facebook ‘fans’ will vote on the winners – to be announced in September.
The Control Force Sky High Hair contest celebrates the creativity of Aveda guests, stylists and students who use Control Force every day to craft their style. Everyone will be able to show off their talent on Aveda’s Facebook page using the network’s favorite hair spray.
