Minnie Driver attended Vanity Fair's annual Oscar party donning a beautiful black beaded strapless gown and statement necklace with long sweeping locks to complete the look. "We had been planning this look for weeks if not longer," said Minnie's stylist Melissa deZarate. "In fact, this hairstyle came to mind before she was even choosing her dress. I wanted to showcase a new look that no one had seen on her. We kept her hair smooth and less formal so that it wouldn't be competing with her jewelry and corseted dress."
Get the Look:
1. Apply Foundation Mist from roots to mid-shaft, then follow up with an equal amount of Volumista Mist for Volume. Blow-dry hair in small sections using a Mason Pearson brush until it is pin straight.
2. Mist 1-inch sections of hair with Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray and flat iron to seal in shine and keep hair smooth. Start with front sections, then flip remaining hair away from the face with the flat iron to give added movement
3. Spray hair generously with Impermeable Anti-Humidity Spray and use Superfine Strong Hair Spray to smooth down any flyways. Mix together a little bit of Fiber Groom Elastic Texture Paste and Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil in hands and gently run through the ends of hair to give them more shine and movement.
